What bench time costs
One fee, published, no add-ons discovered at the end. Every session includes the written spec sheet, and every fee credits back if you build the clubs here.
Single-category sessions
90 minutes
Head, loft, face angle, shaft weight and profile, length, and grip. The category where a mismatch costs the most and where most people arrive with something too long and too stiff.
90 minutes · most requested
Head style, shaft, length, lie, set flow, and grip size across the set. Lie angle work is included in the fee rather than billed per club afterward.
60 minutes
Usually the most neglected clubs in the bag and often the ones with the largest gain available off tight Bermuda lies.
60 minutes
Covers the awkward stretch between your longest comfortable iron and your shortest wood, including whether you need one club there or two.
75 minutes
Loft gapping, bounce and grind selection for Lowcountry turf, plus full-swing and partial distances mapped out on paper.
60 minutes
Length, lie, loft, head weight, balance style, and grip. Run on a real green surface rather than a strip of carpet.
Longer blocks
3 hours, with a break
Driver through putter in one sitting, with the gapping worked out as a set rather than club by club. Best value if more than two categories are in question.
2 hours
Pick any two of the single-category sessions above. The common pairing is driver plus irons, followed closely by wedges plus putter.
45 minutes · under 17
Height, wrist-to-floor, strength, and current set assessment. Priced low deliberately because a growing kid needs this roughly once a year.
30 minutes
For clubs we have already built or fitted. Loft and lie verified, grips inspected, swing weight re-checked, adjustments made on the spot where possible.
Build and bench charges
Component prices are whatever the manufacturer charges plus our standard markup, listed on the quote before anything is ordered. Labor is separate and looks like this:
How the credit works
Build a club here within ninety days of your session and the session fee comes off the invoice, once, up to the full amount of the fee. A $165 iron session followed by an iron build means $165 off. It is not a discount stack — one session, one credit.
Payment and cancellation
- Cards, cash, or check. Nothing is collected until the session is finished.
- Builds require a deposit covering components at the time the order is placed.
- Twenty-four hours notice to cancel or move an appointment. Beyond that we simply ask that you call — life happens and we do not charge a fee for it.
- Sixty days of free adjustment on anything built here, covering length, lie, swing weight, and grip build-up.
